Recycling Makes A Cleaner Environment

We should appreciated, cherish and cultivate blessings to protect the natural beauty of earth. It has to start with the first move!!!


Tzu Chi would like to invite you to step forward and join hands in doing recycling! We cherish the lands and our lives as well. Many senior Tzu Chi volunteers, aged over 70s or 80s, are still engaged in protecting environment. However, they still use their fingers to sort out paper and their feet to crush flat cans. Recycling 50 kilograms of paper can save a 20-year-old tress from being chopped down, and a can reduce 3 hours of electricity used for watching TV. Master Cheng Yen says, "They have the most beautiful hands and the most inspiring feet that i've ever seen."


The recyclable items such as Newspaper, books, carton boxes, posters and all other types of paper. (please tie them up properly). All types of glass bottles. Please handly with care. (Other glass slabs are not accepted). PET bottles, soya sauce bottles, fresh milk bottles, shampoo bottles, plastic drums, plastic containers, detergent bottles. Please rinse the bottles.


Male and female entire, children wear. Please use plastic bags to keep the clothing. (do not mix with others recyclable items). Containers for drinks, milk powder, biscuits, milk and milo. Carbonated drinks and beer can. ( Please compressed), other Aluminum items. Other metal items (iron,copper), used electrical items, used car battery and dry cells.


Items that are not accepted.


Bed sheets, toys, curtains, rags, inner wears, styrofoam, furniture, bed, acrylic window panes, glass slabs, ceramics, wood, bamboo items, marble stone, fish tank, flower pot, tyre, shoes, safety helmets.

Tzu Chi Foundation

Tzu Chi Foundation was established in 1966 by Venerable Dharma Master Cheng Yen on the impecunious east coast of Taiwan. For over 42 years, the foundation has been contributing to better social and community services, medical care, education and humanism in Taiwan and around the world. From the first 30 members, housewives who saved two cents from their grocery money each day to help the poor, the foundation has grown to over five million members in 45 countries.

Master Cheng Yen firmly believes that suffering in this world is caused not only by material deprivation but, more importantly, also by spiritual poverty. She feels that the lack of altruistic love for others has been the root of many problems in this world. Thus, the foundation’s guiding principle on charity is to “help the poor and educate the rich.”

Tzu Chi’s missions focus on giving material aid to the needy and inspiring love and humanity to both givers and receivers. In addition to charity, the foundation dedicates itself in the fields of medicine, education, environmental protection, international relief work and the establishment of the world’s third largest marrow donor registry. It also promotes humanistic values and community volunteerism. Through helping those in need, Tzu Chi volunteers take on the path of bodhisattva practices, the way to Buddhahood.

In 1984, Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation USA was established in California, as a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since then, 62 local offices have been established with 100,000 members in the U.S. working to make a difference in their local communities.

Happiness Centre

Today i come to Happiness Centre which for children mentally disabled . I come to give some daily need to them. This centre had 35 child, the eldest is 25 yrs old but still laying down in the baby coat, the youngest is 2 years old. Due to the brain problem like microcephaly with spastic quadriplegici, cerebral palsy,old spastic,sparlic quadirpalic,cp and blind.

This centre need a lot of help.Why don't give our blessing to them while we still can ? Let them have a home to call thier own.This centre founder is Mr. Roy Collar and the admin person incharge is mdm.Nancy Miranda. This centre was start on July 2004 till now and location at no:4803-C,Taman Anggerik, Klebang Kecil,75200 Melaka, Malaysia. Tel:06-3364561, 3358487 and the fax no: 06-3364564.

Mudita House

Today is friday also 2nd day of Jan 09, is a sunny day and i have schedule with me . The most important in my schedule is i am going to Mudita House. What is Mudita House? Actually is a orphanage at Jalan Gajah Berang,Melaka,Malaysia. I very surprise there just start this Mudita House on year 2004 till today left 5 kids. The eldest and second is study Notre Dame Sec form 3 in Melaka (Girl School) the third is boy study in Chatolic school standard 6 , the forth is boy same school in standard 5 and the last is boy and standard 3.

Their are very cute and polite.There is auntie name mdm. Poh and uncle mr.Raymond both of them are taking care of them. There will bring them to outdoor activites,school , prepare meals and etc.

There will having a charity dinner on the 15th of Jan 09. I hope who like to attend or support please call mr. Raymond for this number :016-6433376 for the ticket. Me and my friends already do the first step so what about you?
