If you are in Malaysia, Melaka (The Historical City), and you’re a non-Halal visitor, Satay Celup is must eat. In fact, till now, I still believe good satay celup can only be found in Melaka, and nowhere else, unless I’m proven wrong one day. Never leave Melaka without the savory satay celup. In Melaka there a few Satay Celup shop such as Capitol Satay Celup, located at Bukit Cina, Ban Lee Hiang located at Jalan Ong Kim Wee. This two is the popular among others.
2. Melaka Nyonya Curry Laksa is enriched with various spices but cooked without curry powder.Donald & Lily’s Corner the one i like to recommend and it located at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock (Heeren Street), within walking distance from Jonker Street and the reddish Dutch Square. Beside that you can get our Melaka famous dessert cendol at the same place.
3. Don't leave Melaka without trying chicken rice ball. There is few out there such as Hoe Kee chicken rice ball at Jonker Walk, Famosa chicken at Jonker Walk and the other one which is out of town is Wilson chicken at Jalan Gajah Berang.
4. Last, i would like to recommend Baba Nyonya Restaurant which located at Jonker Walk, Bibik Chi Neo, Makko, Ole Sayang all at Melaka Raya and Auntie Lee at Jalan Ujong Pasir.
